Hotel Search

My girlfriend and I have been together for about ten years now and for the entirety of that time we have always talked about wanting to go to Australia yet we never have. There are a combination of reasons, such as the cost of flights out there, and being able to get enough time off work at the same time, but in my opinion making excuses like this had gone on too long. We both wanted to do it, it was just the case of taking the plunge, dipping into our savings and telling our bosses categorically that we needed a couple of weeks off at least over the winter, and if they didn’t like it then they could have a look at our contracts!

I waited for my girlfriend to get home that night and as soon as we had had a drink together I told her that we needed to do this. At first she was hesitant, saying that maybe next year would be better because we would probably get pay rises this year, but I said to her that if we waited another year, there would just be another years worth of reasons why we shouldn’t do it! She really came round to the idea though, and within a couple of hours we were searching the net looking at places to stay in Australia. We both liked the look of Brisbane as a starting point, and when we looked for flights we were amazed to see that there were some really cheap flights to Brisbane out there! This settled things. We bookmarked the page, and both resolved to tell our bosses in no uncertain terms that we were having some time off!
